A proposal for a library and plaza in Sydney’s south east. The library is arranged over five levels with the top two levels split into 4 tubes which are then bent and twisted in response to urban, programmatic and environmental conditions. The tubes address the plaza, Botany Rd, Green Square train station and the transport interchange while actively assisting in the ventilation of the building and providing natural light to the reading areas on the upper levels.
