Bennett and Trimble practices architecture and urbanism. The office has completed a broad range of projects in the public and private domain including a competition-winning proposal for the Gold Coast Civic and Cultural Precinct. Current projects include the Australian Peacekeeping Memorial, a masterplan and upgrade works to the front of house areas of the Seymour Centre, internal works for the Australian War Memorial in Canberra, a private residence in Riverview, and studies for a community boating hub in Docklands, Melbourne.
We have strategic relationships with specialised firms to collaborate on complex projects. With Space.Logic we have prepared masterplans for student housing and research facilities for the University of Newcastle, studies for a new learning centre for the Canberra Institute of Technology and we are currently reviewing the ABC’s Parliament House Bureau accommodation. With Studio Nield we are reviewing the Vic Harbour Masterplan for Lend Lease and preparing studies for a new public swimming pool and library within the Docklands precinct. With Grimshaw Architects we have recently won a design competition for a property masterplan for Brisbane Airport.
